2012 Outdoor Movies

The weather is getting warmer.  Pretty soon it'll be time to head out to your nearest outdoor movie with some food, drinks, and a blanket.  There's fantastic free choices all over the city.  Here's the schedule for them (keep and eye on the event calendar to the right over the next few weeks):

Little Italy - The original outdoor movies in Baltimore feature live music starting at 7PM with the movie starting at 9PM every Friday night.

  • July 6th - Moonstruck
  • July 13th - Godfather (it is Little Italy)
  • July 20th - From Here to Eternity
  • July 27th - Buoua Sera Mrs. Campbell
  • August 3rd - Letters to Juliet
  • August 10th - Come September
  • August 17th - The Talented Mr. Ripley
  • August 24th - When in Rome
  • August 31st - Cinema Paradiso

Flicks on the Hill - By far the largest movie night, Flicks on the Hill is sponsored by the American Visionary Arts Museum.  In fact, the screen and speakers are built into the side of the building.  As many as 400-800 people gather on the side of Federal Hill each week, so make sure to show up early for a good (non-vertical) spot for the 9PM movies.
  • July 12th - Space Balls
  • July 19th - Breaking Away
  • July 26th - Vertigo
  • August 2nd - High Anxiety
  • August 9th - Triplets of Belleville
  • August 16th - Blue Hawaii
  • August 23rd - Citizen Kane
(UPDATE) Fells Point Films on the Pier - Movies start at 8:45PM each Wed from July 11th to August 29th on the Broadway pier.

  • July 11th - Rise of the Planet of the Apes
  • July 18th - Bridesmaids
  • July 25th - Safe House
  • August 1st - Crazy Stupid Love
  • August 8th - Drive
  • August 15th - 30 Minutes or Less
  • August 22nd - Hunger Games
  • August 29th - Money Ball
