Aquarium Morning Discount for MD Residents

If you live in Maryland and haven't been to the aquarium, it's time to go.  No more excuses.  The crowds are light, and the price is right.  Get $10 off each adult admission (and $5 each child) to the National Aquarium in Baltimore by showing your Maryland ID on any Sunday through Friday until February 28th.  Just make sure you get there before noon for the discount.  Here's the website with more details.

Charm City Roller Girls

Baltimore Boat Show 2014 - plus Ticket Giveaway!

Sure it's cold outside, but it's time to start planning for the summer (at the very least it'll make you feel warmer). The boat show from January 23rd to the 26th at the Convention Center is just the place to do it. Get a chance to meet R.J. and Jay Paul Molinere, stars of History Channel's Swamp People, check out the crab picking contest, help your kids build a toy boat, take a boating or fishing seminar, or just check out this year's hottest watercraft.

Edgar Allan Poe House Open and FREE This Weekend!

Charm City Folk & Bluegrass Festival 2014

After a resounding success last year, the festival is back.  Click on the picture above to see who will be playing.  They've moved the event to Druid Hill Park this year to give people more room to stretch out and a scenic view to enjoy.  You can buy tickets now at the official website.  Keep in mind that $2 of every admission go to the Baltimore Conservatory (which is fantastic, and you should visit it as well).
