With 21% of our state being water, it's no surprise that boating is huge around Baltimore. This weekend (Thursday, February 28th through Sunday March 3rd), the Baltimore Convention Center plays host to the 2013 Progessive Baltimore Boat Show. Sure you can go shopping for boats and boat supplies, but there's a ton more to see and do. From Alligator wrestling to crab picking contests, there's something fun to see for everyone. Try your hand at docking a remote-controlled boat, let the kids build a toy boat, or just stop by a seminar to learn more about any number of activities on the water. You'll leave forgetting that it's still cold outside, but more ready for summer than ever.
